Mr. Ranjan Nehru

Mr. Ranjan Nehru graduated from Government Law College in the year 1979, and joined the chambers of Justice Radhakrishnan. Initially he practiced as a Counsel in the Bombay High Court. In 1990 he started Nehru & Co. in Pune and he built the firms practice primarily in the field of corporate law. Over the past 23 years, the firm has been able to call itself Pune’s leading corporate law firms.
Given that, in the 1990’s when he started Nehru & Co., Pune’s corporate and commercial environment was still in its infancy, he was the few, if not the only lawyer to offer corporate legal services. Having more than 35 years of legal experience he is recognized as one of Pune’s leading corporate lawyers.
He specializes in structuring intricate corporate transactions that demand expertise in the co-ordination of many facets of corporate, tax and security laws.
In addition he also specializes in dealing with Arbitration, Foreign Collaborations and Investments, Property law, Banking and Finance, Environment Law.
He has been the pioneer of drafting contracts relating to infrastructural projects such as Build, Own and Operate, Build Own, Operate and Transfer, or Build, Own, Lease and Transfer type of contracts, which are commonly used in infrastructure projects.
He has been associated with the Frankfurt School of Management and has also been a guest faculty at the Symbiosis Law School.
He is also the Founder Member & Chairman/Director of the Institute of Arbitration & Mediation, a Public Limited Company.
Mr. Amol Nehru
Partner
Studied law at Symbiosis Law School, Amol started his practice in Pune in the year 2009, working in Nehru & Co. as a junior associate. Thereafter, for a brief period of time, he worked as a part of the corporate law team of Thomson Reuters, India. He then proceeded to Singapore where he obtained his Masters degree in Corporate Law & Finance from National University of Singapore.
After completing his degree, he worked in two Singapore based law firms in the areas of corporate law, civil litigation and international matrimonial law. He was also involved in Singapore’s first case under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction.
After returning to India, he joined Nehru & Co. as a partner. Amol is currently leading the arbitration practice of the law firm. He is also actively involved in a wide array of litigation matters involving civil, company and even family disputes. He practices in the Pune District Court, Bombay High Court, Supreme Court, NCLT (Mumbai), NGT (Pune).
Mr. Navneet J.Mutha

Mr. Navneet J.Mutha has been involved in conveyancing and real estate since the past 20 years. He is an expert at due diligence and title search. He has provided his services for real estate transactions for more than 100 companies to-date.

Since joining Nehru & Co., his core area of practice is litigation, and he has extensively dealt with various Civil suits relating to Injunctions, Declaration, Summary Suits, Money (Recovery) Suits, Partition, Possession, Recovery of Debts Due to Banks, Negotiable Instruments, Rent suits, Intellectual Property Rights, Probate and Letters Of Administration.
Ms. Swapnal Gunthey

Swapnal has completed her LL.B from ILS Law College, Pune in the year 2015 and has also completed her Company Secretaries (CS) course. She has previously worked with Adv. Madan Godse and PCS Sachin Bhagwat. Prior to joining the Firm, she has experience in drafting commercial agreements, secretarial drafting, and secretarial functions including compliances for companies. She also has a degree in Computer Application from Indore University (DAVV).
Since joining the Firm she is handling civil, criminal, commercial litigation and as well as general corporate and secretarial matters.

Mr. Vishal Kataria started as an associate with Nehru & Co. more than 15 years ago. He has now his own thriving IPR practice. He has and continues to be associated with Nehru & Co. on IPR matters. Mr. Vishal Katariya completed his LL.M from UK and the US. He is the Chair professor for Intellectual Property Rights at the prestigious University of Pune.
Ms. Anushka Jadhav

Anushka Jadhav is an Advocate enrolled with Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. She has obtained her B.B.A. LL.B. Hons, a Diploma in International Business and Corporate Laws in India and has also completed her post graduation in Innovation, Technology and Intellectual Property Law from Symbiosis Law School, Pune. She handles civil, criminal and commercial litigation at Nehru & Co. and represents the clients before various Tribunals such as Consumer Forums, Labour, Industrial and arbitration.
Ms. Mallika Shekhar

Mallika is enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa. She completed her law from ILS, Pune and holds diplomas in Corporate Law and Human Rights & International Law. She was working with Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, Bengaluru before joining Nehru & Co. as an Associate (Corporate). She has experience in drafting various corporate contracts and advisory opinions spanning over diverse sectors.
